Exclamation help!!!

I dunno if i should put it here but i have Slackware and i wanted to install limewire but something is wrong....i install Java and when im ready to install Limewire this happens...

Preparing to install...
Extracting the installation resources from the installer archive...
Configuring the installer for this system's environment...
No Java virtual machine could be found from your PATH
environment variable. You must install a VM prior to
running this program.

make sure you add the path of your vm (virtual machine) to the PATH of your system.

wut realese of slack r u using ?

On 9.1 the java stuff is installed on /usr/lib/java, so I gonna be usefull to have these on ur /etc/profile or ~/.bash_profile.

export JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/java
export PATH=$PATH:$JAVA_HOME/bin
export MANPATH=$MANPATH:$JAVA_HOME/man

Check out if u have java-stuff installed there in /usr/lib ..
If not then u can download from java.sun.com, dun choose the rpm-packaged, the ontehr one, forgot which (something tarball bin packaged) ..

Java-doc package is also not in the /extra of 9.1 (2nd CD is too full maybe) ..
