hdparm on a web server

hi_($all)

I have a little question about hdparm.
I have my laptop with the best (i guess) configuration for hdparm, but it is
obviously a ide device.
On my server (servelinux -> wonderful) I have a RAID 1 with ide HD (but they
are seen as SCSI (y?)), i made some google to find a right configuration
for hdparm, but i didn't find anything, is there anyone who knows howto set
this param?

thanks, but i've already read this, but didn't help in this case.
does'nt talk about /dev/sda
