Unhappy Gstreamer engine

Hey guys,

First off, I want to thank you guys/gals for all the help you have given me in the past with my problems.

Now days I have Slackware running pretty well, with a few exceptions. I have loaded up amaroK as a media player and I went to the website and downloaded the newest parts/pieces for Gstreamer. I ./configured - make - (su/pass) make install per the read me instructions but when I go to the amaroK setup and tried to select the search engine I get this error:

Code:
GStreamer is missing a registry.
Please make sure that you have installed all necessary GStreamer plugins
(e.g. OGG and MP3), and run 'gst-register' afterwards.
For further assistance consult the GStreamer manual, and join #gstreamer on irc.freenode.net.

Has anyone seen this before? If so, any clue as to whatś going on?

Thanks,

Mark
