How did you download the file?
Could you delete the old deb chrome package you and download it again with "wget https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb"
As of right now i got "md5sum google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb" "7f5cdcf7961e04b9c988ae0712614fa1" but this can change any time.
Did you do a full install of slackware?
Slackware 14.2 has mozilla-nss-3.23 when you install but if you update it you will get the mozilla-nss-3.31 from patches so please update the available updates for 14.2

Just now i saw your editing. I did not do a full install, my bad.

Will update it in the morning, hopefully.

Already found how to configure slackpkg and install updates.

jamasoo, do you stay logged in as root? If so, don't.

The Checksum errors often means that there's a new update being uploaded right now that's not finished yet.
Just wait some time and run "slackpkg update" again and it should work.

Thanks!

If the error persists more than a few hours, that mirror may be having issues and it might be wise to switch to a different mirror.
