Google Chrome & LastPass binary component

Currently running Slackware64 14.1 with the latest Google Chrome stable packaged from the build script included on the 14.1 DVD and am having an issue getting the binary component recognized in Google Chrome. This is a fresh install of Slackware, but if I remember correctly this worked without any issues on 14.0, which I was using the build script included on the 14.0 DVD. The install script for the LastPass binary component runs without any issues and I've verified against the install script that the files are where they should be. In Google Chrome when I go to LastPass Icon > Tools > About the binary component is missing. If I open up Mozilla Firefox the binary component IS recognized. Anyone happen to know what's going on?

I use Chrome and Lastpass frequently, but I've never actually noticed that the binary component bit existed. I just checked and ran the install script it gives you, and I'll verify that Lastpass on Chrome also does not recognize it. However, I don't think it impacts the functionality of the addon at all, or at least not for me. I'd never have known it wasn't there if I hadn't seen this thread.

apparently the binary component gives extra features, one of the which is to allow you to export your vault to a CSV file. without the binary component the CSV file displays in Chrome as a webpage where as with the component it brings up the download dialog to download the file as CSV. I'm sure there are others, but this was what I came across when I filed a report with LastPass about the CSV download... I'm actually in contact with LastPass now about this as I think it might be a bug of some sort. I'll report back once there's an answer/fix.
