GNOME.SlackBuild

When installing "GNOME.SlackBuild" do I need todo upgrade or new install?

Did you read the install doc:
FULL INSTALL:

RUN: ./frg_full_install.sh from this directory

Minimal Install:

RUN: ./frg_min_install.sh from this directory

TO UPGRADE:

Same as above, those commands will update only those packages that need
to be upgrade
