glob manual 8 not found

I read in ibm developerworks about quoting in bash.
In that article, the writer suggest to
man 8 glob for more info,
but theres' no section 8 manual for glob in my slackware.
Man not found.
How come?
Where to get it?

In Slackware, it's actually in the 3 section, but 'man glob' works fine.
