GLIBC_2.3.2 missing

Iam trying to install Slackgrade, the update/download wizard and I
keep getting:

root@tiscali:/home/divali/downloads/slackgrade# slackgrade
slackgrade: /lib/libpthread.so.0: version `GLIBC_2.3.2' not found (required by slackgrade)

I can't seem to find the file anywhere. I have searched.
Can anyone give me any pointers?

Which Slackware version do you use?

You should probably recompile slackgrade against your current glibc.

Michael latrou is right just install it from source

I guess you mean use the glibc that comes on the slackware 9.00 cd? I hadn't installed it.
