Question ghc & haskell on sclackware 13.0

Hey!

All is in the title.
I'd like to know if someone has successfully install ghc and haskell on slackware 13.0.
I need cabal to install a pandoc but failed in installing ghc, even the binary.
Yet, cabal is included in haskell which needs ghc.
Thank you,

Éric.

I have ghc and all the dependencies for Xmonad installed on Slackware64-14 and formerly I had it running on 13.37. I would recommend to upgrade to 14. All installed from Slackbuilds.org without problems.

If you don't want to upgrade, please describe in detail what you mean with "....but failed in installing ghc, even the binary".
Which errormessages did you get.

Markus

Hey Markus,

Thanks for your reply.
I figure I've no other choice but to upgrade.
Thank you.

Éric.
