getting ./configure: Permission denied when building SBo's

I got this on imlib2, and now getting this on libass, as I just skipped imlib2 and moved on to something else, only to get this same error.

this is a fresh install of slack c./configure: Permission deniedurr iso system updated to right now. The only thing I really changed was tmp to ram. tmpfs

other slackbuilds were build and installed but now I get this. maybe me? Because I changed it to this after installing a few SBo items first.
Code:
tmpfs            /tmp             tmpfs       defaults,noatime,nosuid,nodev,noexec,mode=1777
error
Code:
libass-0.14.0/libass/x86/x86inc.asm
/usr/sbo/repo/libraries/libass/libass.SlackBuild: line 73: ./configure: Permission denied
Failure encountered while building libass:
  libass.SlackBuild return non-zero
imlib2
Code:
./imlib2.SlackBuild: line 78: ./configure: Permission denied
the line in configure is. they are both pointing to the same block of code.
Code:
# The user is always right.
if test "${PATH_SEPARATOR+set}" != set; then
  PATH_SEPARATOR=:
  (PATH='/bin;/bin'; FPATH=$PATH; sh -c :) >/dev/null 2>&1 && {
    (PATH='/bin:/bin'; FPATH=$PATH; sh -c :) >/dev/null 2>&1 ||
      PATH_SEPARATOR=';'
  }
fi
Like it cannot access /bin
but I got a /bin

I've never seen anything like this before...

maybe it's because you mounted /tmp with the "noexec" option?
IMHO you should avoid the "no*" options you are using for it, it doesn't have the same purpose of /dev/shm...

yeah ok -- I got it off of memory of something I seen on the net on how to put tmp into ram. and actually used that line for /dev/shm as a, "I'll start there", point of reference in the fstab file. thanks.

that also explained why I could not use size=8000M
