[SOLVED] gamin server (gam_server) deadlock in Slackware 14.0rc5

I've just tested again in 14.0rc5 and I encountered many times this gam_server deadlock.

It prevents KDE apps from starting once a while and appears more frequently when I open multiple applications quickly.

The patch has been accepted apparently but is still not part of an upstream release.

Can it be fixed before 14.0 is released ? (will prevent some KDE apps hanging at start report)

You know what? Since months I was bugged with stale gam_server processes when I logout from lxde, so I tried that patch (that seems already applied by debian and ubuntu), together with this (to build gamin over the newer glib) and that behaviour is no more.

Thanks for your confirmation ponce that I'm not alone to have this bug.

I hope now Pat or someone that can make it go in Slackware 14.0 will notice
