File asosiation with kde

I have a friend that is modifying slackX. But we have a problem, we want kde to use firefox as the default browser. The problem is that we can't use the graphical interface, but we have to modify the cd iso.

So the question would be what config file uses kde to associate files with programs?

Greetings

I believe that all configurations for the kde desktop are found in each users directory under the .kde folder. But the global kde settings should be in /opt/kde... or /usr/kde... folders somewhere. It's best to see the www.kde.org webpage for details.
