failed compile rar2fs

Hi,

rar2fs is a FUSE based file system that can mount a source RAR archive/volume
or a directory containing any number of RAR archives and access (read only) the
contents as plain files/directories. Other files located in the source directory
are handled transparently.

This requires: unrar

rar2fs doesn't compile for me with unrar-4.2.4

checking for RARGetDllVersion in -lunrar ... no
configure: error: 
            Can't find unrar library - add...

but unrar is installed. Seems a wrong unrar library version...?

Is the unrar.pc file installed?

What is unrar.pc file and where I can find it? I installed unrar using Slackware slack.build script and sources as they are provided on www.slackbuilds.org (rep. 14.0).
