Eth0 link going down to standby Slackware 12.2

Hi all Man! Please help me if you can, I have one problem, I explain you, the server eth:0 card where the internet, working temporarily. I change the mother board, ethernet card,) nothing to do think Alice! I check the bios, change the ACPI configuration, and not see the luck) I think the problem in the program. Maybe I must reconfigure my kernel with acpi=off
I find in this forum the post
Example: boot: hugesmp.s append = "acpi=off noapic hda=noprobe"<Enter/Return>
Maybe I must do like this?
boot: hugesmp.s append = "acpi=off noapic eth0=noprobe"<Enter/Return>
Please correct me, what do I must for disable the Eth0 link going down service.
Thank you!

It might be as simple as using the acpi=force option when booting, or put it in lilo.conf
This has solved problems for me in the past.

If you do not know where to put this option, tell us so that we can help you more.

Now, just out of curiosity... I guess English is not your native language (it isn't mine either) So what is your native language?

You can put it in your /etc/lilo.conf
An example (if you use the standard "huge" kernel):
Code:
image = /boot/vmlinuz
  root = /dev/sda4
  append = " acpi=force"
  label = Linux
  read-only
Unfortunately we don't share any other language than English
I am Dutch but live in Brazil, so I speak Dutch, Portuguese and do my best to speak English

First rule: there are no stupid questions

You should run lilo as root before rebooting, for the change in /etc/lilo.conf to have effect.
