Error DMA timeout entry,during Slackware 9 installation


hi everyone,during Slackware 9 installation,when slackware boot my
computer,i get error DMA time out entrie,i'm new user in slackware
,please help me.and also tell me,how create partition in linux.bye

Maybe you should try a more recent version of Slackware, especially version 10.1. This gives you a much more recent kernel, which might solve your DMA problem.

but my friend say,its your hard disc problem.please tell me.after this problem i used my friend hard disc and my friend hard disc was worked fine.bye

Are you using a western digital hard drive by chance?

But now, I mean, just how hard is it to download the 10.1 ISO and burn a copy?

10.1's time is now, and it rocks.
