Encryption of filesystem whole in UEFI Slackware

I'm wanting to perform a whole disc encryption on my SSD+HDD combo.
Code:
bash-4.3$ lsblk
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
sda 8:0 0 1.8T 0 disk
├─sda1 8:1 0 390.6G 0 part /var
├─sda2 8:2 0 390.6G 0 part /tmp
└─sda3 8:3 0 1.1T 0 part /home
sdb 8:16 0 232.9G 0 disk
├─sdb1 8:17 0 500M 0 part /boot/efi
└─sdb2 8:18 0 232.4G 0 part /
As you can see, I have /var, /tmp, and /home on /dev/sda with /boot and / on /dev/sdb.
I would like to have a setup using elilo (or GRUB2 if you think it would be easier) using dmcrypt and LUKS with LVM as well.
I've been looking around and so far most docs are outdated for older slackware versions or do not include a HOWTO on encrypting root.
Much appreciated with any help you could give.

Believe it or not, the instructions for accomplishing that goal have not changed much or at all since Slackware 12 at least. I find grub2 easier personally. This still works:

ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackwar...ADME_CRYPT.TXT

You can look at my blog here for how I did it with 14.1 and an SSD+HDD, see
