ELILO - Could not prepare Boot variable: No Such file or directory

I tried to install a boot menu entry and it failed with "Could not prepare Boot variable: No such file or directory." It worked correctly when I updated to Linux 4.14.57.

Edit: I updated to 4.14.58 this morning!

EFI start 64_current 4.14.59

Problem not solved in 4.14.59

get still "efibootmgr: error while loading shared libraries: libefivar.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" when running elilo-config. Can't find a version of libefivar

Solved after installing efivar-35-x86_64-1

Strange, it works for me now. I marked the thread as unsolved for you.

Edit: Okay I remarked this as solved.
