Hi

Slackware comes with lilo ( Linux Loader ) where you can dual boot many operating systems.
Slackware setup will guide you well. Why you aim to use grub especially ?

grub is in extras. Since you are familiar with it, go ahead and use it. Having to only edit a configuration file is very nice with system changes. Works great for dual boot to XP and earlier M$ OS. M$ usually tweaks things enough with a new version that they are broken until the community catches up. Good chance that ntfs has some tweaks. Haven't seen any experience with VISTA. reiserfs has some install notes that you should read before proceeding.
