Downloading Slackware updates using Windows machine

Hello everyone. I would like to ask how to download slackware updates using Windows machine. What I have is slackware 13.37 but it does not have an internet connection. I used to have a desktop which has Slackware and I used to use it for downloading the packages and then copying it to usb so that I can upgrade the other computer that has no internet connection. But since my desktop is out of order and I'm using a windows laptop, is there an easy way to download all the updates of slackware in my Windows machine so that i can copy it in usb? Thanks in advance.

Hi
You can browse to a Slackware patches directory on a mirror near to you, eg:
http://mirrors.unixsol.org/slackware...ches/packages/

Check the changelog:

http://slackware.com/changelog/stable.php?cpu=i386
(That's for Slackware 13.37)

You'll see which packages to download.
HTH

Before, I used Cygwin at work to have some linux/bash feel on my workflow (svn, ssh, etc). This is also where I run rsync then save all contents on flash drive and bring it home.

Thanks for the reply, sycamorex and dc_eros. What I would like to know is how can I download all the update in one single go, just like the rsync_slackware_patches.sh. but using a Windows machine. Thank you.

Install VirtualBox in Windows, install Slackware in a virtual machine, download the updates with it then copy the updates on an USB key.

Neither an elegant nor a simple solution, but should work

lftp has a Windows version and its mirror command with its options is a perfect fit for your needs.

I ran across this.
http://users.ugent.be/~bpuype/wget/
You could wget the patches directory.
I haven't tried it myself though.

You can use filezille It has an option to show only the files with different timestamps. I have a similar situation and that is what I use.

Thanks Didier Spaier, TobiSGD, slackass, and colorpurple21859 for the replies. To Didier Spaier, yes I agree with you that it is not an elegant solution.
What I did is that I downloaded the wget from my cygwin installation and mirror the patches directory of http://slackware.mirrors.tds.net. Thanks slackass for the tip. To colorpurple21859, I have a fear of using GUI.

Problem solved guys.
