Doom

Does anyone know of a Doom source port that compiles cleanly and runs on Slackware 9?

I looked as zdoom-1.22, but the new gcc doesn't seem to like it. I tried doomlegacy as well, but, the executable I get coredumps with X errors.

PRBoom rocks, but the OpenGL seems a little rusty on my system... but then, the original never had OGL so I can't complain!
