You're very welcome Patrick! And at the gplus Slackware Community, I've just removed the link to the DVD subscription at the store, replacing it with the link you've given your (currently) official nod to.
I also posted a notice to that affect on gplus in the community as well.
Wishing all the very utmost in health and happiness for you and yours, and looking forward to funding vehicles and strategies that benefit and are controlled by you directly.
P.S. Personally, and even though I never take them out of the shrink wrap, I look forward to a subscription yielding a tangible fixed version of Slackware after every new official release (and a T-shirt too). For actual installs and production use, I use my mirrors of Slackware -current.
The reason I donate to Slackware is that I am grateful for all the years of hard work dedicated to the distribution and that I want it going strong. It's as simple as that for me.

Maybe Pat could delegate the web site to someone, letting him focus on Slackware its self?
Have people submit their design and decide which he likes best and give them control.
Here is static html/css slackware testsite i would prefer, no javascript, no external fonts, but still somewhat "responsive" for mobile devices. The design is basically taken from http://opus-codec.org/.

It looks fairly good. My only critique is that div#main and a few other css selectors use percentages. That way the viewport meta tag will adjust accordingly for mobile devices of all types. Nice work!
Edit: For some reason my phone was zoomed in prior to opening the page.
Hi all - like everyone else I'm disgusted that this situation has developed and have cancelled my subscription (although, from the above, I suspect that the store has already beaten me to it).
I will sign up again as soon as a regular payment mechanism is established. I have had issues with PayPal in the past (and PayPal is not flavour of the month with many of my peers but no need to go into that here) - I'm more than happy with Stripe / Patreon / Liberapay etc.; I'll go with the flow on that one.
So far it appears that the quality of the OS in inversely proportional to the ease with which funds can be sent to the maintainer(s)! Hopefully we can change this...
I've used Slackware for years and cannot now imagine using anything else so a huge thanks to Pat (and family who must be giving him so much support) for masterminding the best OS I've ever come across (and I've lost count of the number I have looked at). Let us all know the second a new subscription system is set up and we'll be there in a heartbeat.
I received an e-mail confirmation from the store letting me know that my subscription was cancelled along with *all* subscriptions. So your subscription may already be cancelled. I will no longer do business with the store. I choose instead to support Pat directly with donations.
About how long ago did you get the email from the store? I have had a subscription from store.slackware.com since at least 2004, and have not received any message from them regarding cancelling subscriptions.

Neither did I, and I have had a subscription (not cancelled) for many years.

I sent an e-mail to Theresa Garner at the Slackware store on July 23, 2018. I asked her to cancel my subscription. She replied on July 24, 2018 and let me know that all subscriptions have been cancelled. Of course I have no way of knowing if my subscription along with all other subscriptions have in fact been cancelled.

What you created is clean and simple but I think the background and borders really spice up slackware.com
Is it easy to update without editing html code? Can you go to administrator and type out something and hit submit without having to deal with css and html tags in the actual website code? Can it index older entries if he decides to use it as a blog? Slackware.com is fine in presentation but not functionality for administration and maintenance.
Speaking of Slackware.com why is the store being advertised still in the "Slackware 14.2 is released!" entry on the main page?
Which address do you sent to? Normally email sent to info@store.slackware.com tends to be slow, I have sent to both info@ and sales@, and I get back within 24 hours.
