Try using RAW version of the patch from Github

Are you sure it's OpenCV 2.4.6.1?

Code:
-rw-r--r-- 1 cliff users 80762052 Jul 24 11:59 opencv-2.4.6.1.tar.gz
I downloaded this file two different times, just in case there was an error. I'll give the raw patch a try, and post back.

O.k., the raw file got me past the patch problems. For interest sake, I kept the file I had made from the posting, and compared it to the file I created from the link you provided. I used diff -w raw.patch first.patch and there were no differences.

ls=l on the files shows the raw file size of 5174 and the first file at 6879. The difference has to be white space. Don't know why that causes problems, but it seems to.

I'll post on failure, or success of the build.

I now have
Quote:
opencv-2.4.6.1-x86_64-1wsr.txz
built and installed.

Quote:
ls /var/log/packages | grep opencv
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 10313 Jul 25 14:57 opencv-2.4.6.1-x86_64-1wsr
On to digikam. I'll update this thread on success ( or failure ).

I have successfully built and installed digikam 3.2.0. It launches, no problem.

ls /var/log/packages | grep digikam

Willy, Thank-you for your assistance.

This thread is solved.
