The issue has been reported
here. It is necessary to compile tmux from the master branch in
github, against ncurses>=6.4-20230424. I compiled it and created a package using the slackbuild and other files in
slackware64-current/source/ap/tmux. I created tmux-fda3937.tar.xz because fda3937 was the last commit in my git clone. Briefly, I did:
