-current missing icons

I don't know what went wrong for sure, i updated slackware from 13.0 to -current and it upgraded kde in the process, but now all the icons are missing... from k menu, the bar, folders, everything. I ran slackpkg reinstall kde figuring maybe kdeartwork didn't install right, but still nothing. i figured it was due to the fact that slackpkg was interrupted several times due to power loss and wifi going down, but idk what to do now. Everything works except the icons.

Code:
upgradepkg install-new
Also check that through the changelog and remove any packages that say REMOVE.

This happened to me as well. I have nothing KDE except kdelibs3 from /extra/compat.

How is the command used? I have tried a few combinations and all fall flat.

I figured out how to run "slackpkg install-new". But it just want to install a lot of KDE-stuff. I am on Xfce here ...
