[SOLVED] current: libarchive-3.6.2 regression

Building anything against libarchive-3.6.2 currently fails, due to the the following line in libarchive.pc:

Code:

Requires.private: iconv libssl libcrypto

Deleting this line resolved compilation issues for me.

I hadn't seen the issue on libarchive's github site.

Marav's earlier post includes a link that points at a patch for the libarchive configure script that looks reasonable to me and it also appears to address the issue that you linked on github and more.

Here's hoping the libarchive team fixes their configure script and offers a new release soon.
