couple of issues

Hay, finally got back into linux for good and I got most of it working great. however I still have 2 problems. Ok I am running slackware 10.2 with kernel 2.6.15.4 on a dell 700m. Alot of the tutorials of how to install on a 700m and they say that the module 'snd-intel8x0m' that is loaded by the hotplug messes up the sound, so i have that on the blacklist but when i run alsaconf it still doesn't find a sound card. does anyone have any info on this cause i have loaded slack before and blocked with with positive results. Also i am having problem with video. Whenever i run a game i always get terrible fps like 5 or less. But i ran suse for a while and i got good fps on the same version of the games. But i dont know how to fix this. so thanks for any help

DarkNecromancer-

I'm short on time, but hopefully this helps. Recompile your kernel. Make sure OSS is not used and include ALSA as modules.
