is Bullshit.
is not how it works under professional developers.

LTS for running apps, latest dev for next development,
currently you install LTS, 5.9.x, for all your apps, and download 5.10 with the latest Qt creator
this is how it is since some years for Qt.

Now you can say thank you because I taught you something and brought real knowledge to you, what you will of course not do, because this reality is just disturbing your fantasy construct of how you think that things are, right

but of course, for you, and some members here, your opinion, with is based on nothing and can be put in to the recycle bin next to you because that's where it belongs to, is the only truth. even if its so wrong.
sorry for confronting you with the reality and how things are.

and this

I only see a non-issue here.
is also just a blurb that your brought up to produce some nice text for your fanboys here
because if you would have cared about reality and what I wrote you would know that that's what I did. however, it is a wast of time and resources like energy.
and all your text has nothing to do with the fact that from time to time with 3rd party solutions you run into situations that are like the Qt one.

Again, sorry for confronting you with the reality.
Now feel free to come with an other harassment like strong opinion based on nothing than your ignorance

I know the solution, add Plasma 5 to Current and after vigorous testing Slackware 15 is released.

Code:
bash-4.4# slackpkg search qt5-5.9.3-x86_64

Looking for qt5-5\.9\.3-x86_64 in package list. Please wait... DONE

The list below shows all packages with name matching "qt5-5\.9\.3-x86_64".

[ Status ] [ Repository ] [ Package ]
   installed ktown qt5-5.9.3-x86_64-1alien
