compiling 2.6.3 i went to tldp and got a kernal how to no screen is black at boot


compiling 2.6.3 i went to tldp and got a kernal how to no screen is black at boot

not sure what to do or why it is just black

i think i can here the hard drive but i am not sure

any help???

Change vga in lilo.conf
to
vga = normal
It works for me .
