[SOLVED] Compile whole system when upgrading with emerde?

Because slightly dissapointed with saboyon's portage&porthole want to try emerde on slackware.

Is emerde able to compile whole system (when doing system upgrades on slackware) included kernel and how much of linux knowledge is needed for that? For someone who knows how to use terminal but has offen failed to compile apps on ubuntu.

Whatever it does, I wouldn't try on Slackware-14.0 a software last updated to Slackware-10.

This project is long dead.

Furthermore Slackware is not a source distribution and it's not possible to compile it as a whole.

thanks, probably i would end up buying a chromebook to get source distro.

Just install Gentoo if you are looking to emerge your system.
