Citrix Receiver x86 13.10.0.20 unable to launch from firefox

I'm wanting to ditch my windows pc for good. The only thing that i can't get working which is critical to me is the Citrix Receiver.

Im running 14.2 current 32bit with all updates.

I installed Citrix Receiver (linuxx86-13.10.0.20).
lesstif isn't installed
I installed openmotif from alien

I edited the /opt/Citrix/ICAClient/config/Trusted_Region.ini
ProxyHost=,*.myCompany.net:* (Withholding name)

I then copied the cert to the cacerts directory using cp /usr/share/ca-certificates/mozilla/Go_Daddy_Class_2_CA.crt /opt/Citrix/ICAClient/keystore/cacerts

Im trying to open my vpn using Firefox 60.2.0esr 32 bit. all that happens is the .ica file is downloaded. I have tried opening the .ica file with the Citrix Receiver app and nothing happens.

The weird thing is i can get the receiver to open using an old version of the CitrixReceiver (linuxx86_12.1.0.203066) but i can't get the certificate to pass due to it being SHA 128.

Thanks for any ideas.

Have you tried Chrome or Chromium with the Citrix Receiver plugin? You can download it from the Chrome Web Store. Works like a charm, no configuration required and it auto-updates like every Chrome plugin.

After the last FireFox update the webclient direct from Citrix no longer functions on my Fedora system.

Thank you for pointing out the Chrome plugin. That works like a dream.
