Hi guys

i need to have some tool like RSA SecurID software for linux? Does anyone of you guys have ever install Cisco Vpn on his home Linux and have tried to connect to his company using a RSA authentication mechanism (Token)? If someone of you have done this or know where i can find some good information of how to setting this up (to be able to authenticate myslef using Tokens), please help me out if you can! Currently i have installed vpnclient-linux-x86_64-4.8.00.0490-k9.tar.gz and all necessary Profiles and Certificates but i cant install my token file ".sdtid" i tried to connect to one of our VPN concentrators and everything was fine except that i didnt have my token installed on my Linux box and i did get disconnected from the server(logicly). Any other information you need to be provided with?just ask.

Thanks to you all for your help in advance!

I used to work for an ISP that required an RSA token and when I used Linux on my notebook, there was a proprietary software provided by my company to login which would ask for a username and password.
My username would be whatever I used for my active directory login and the password would be:

password/securid

I don't believe the linux vpn client would work with that. Never went that route.

Hope that helps.

I'm sorry I didn't get your question right the first time, are you trying to setup VPN to login to your home network ? If so, have you considered OpenVPN ?
