Unhappy cant get my nic or wireless to work



I cant seem to get my nic or wireless card to work i juat installed slackware 10.2 and lspci is showing they are there but cant get netconfig to work or iwconfig wont find any device

Use the output of lspci to find out in the web, which module you need to download to support your card.
After you find that, load the module with modprobe, run netconfig and start the network with: /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1 restart
If all goes good, add a line modprobing the module in /etc/rc.d/rc.modules
