I'm on a DSL modem and I started the Bittorrent downloads for CDs 1 and 2. I was averaging about 65kBps and it would peak around 70-80kBps for a while. Now I'm just uploading the isos. Much better than trying to find a mirror.

my downloads are slow as balls.. I really wish the slackware team would get its act together and compile a GOOD list of mirrors....... some of these don't even have slackware 9.1

Pat does not put the updating of the website very high up on his priority list. There are at least 2 other sites that do provide current info on mirrors. One of them is listed in the 10.0 announcement.
