Can anyone else NOT download the current slackware 32 bit DVD torrent?

This is the file in question:
http://www.slackware.com/torrents/sl...ll-dvd.torrent

I can download the torrent file, but after I open the torrent and try to download the DVD ISO is where the problem begins. It connects to peers, it starts to download and then it stalls -- I mean the whole bit torrent program stalls/freezes. And all this happens in a few seconds up to 1 minute.

I've tried it using both rtorrent and transmission. I've tried it on ubuntu and on arch linux. -- It's the same thing every time.

I'm completely stumped.

Red face

I see what your talking about, it sent ktorrent to rouge for me.

I think it could be a damaged/corrupt torrent file.

I don't appear to be having the problem and I'm using BitTorrent 4.4.0. All I'm getting is an error message ("error(s):[09:12:13] Could not load fastresume data: invalid literal for int() with base 10: '1304236485.55' Will perform full hash check."), but download seems to be fine.

And I get, as always:

Try adding an entry to your /etc/hosts file

point trackers.transamrit.net at 67.170.237.26

Looks to me like tracker2 is playing up

Thanks for the replies. Still no solution though.

Looks like some others aren't able to download it either, however some can without problem.

mRgOBLIN, thanks but that didn't seem to make any difference.

Yeah now I think about it.. I think the trackers are hard-coded in the torrent file anyway.

I was getting insane d/l speeds (2.5MBps-3MBps) using my uTorrent seedbox.

My torrent fluctuated between 1-1.7 MB/s. It downloaded in a few hours using ktorrent.

I wonder if my ISP started throtteling torents, I was getting ~150k and the estimated time was 17 hours. Downloaded straight from alienbob and it was less than an hour.

In this end of the net (Ireland) ftp://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/slackware/pub/slackware and cd for what you want from there. No speed troubles.
