Can't mount filesystem !!
I have installed Slackware 10.2 on my pc in /dev/hdb1(reiserfs) and in other partition in /dev/hdb4 I have Ubuntu 5.10. Ubuntu didn't mount the Slackware partition!
When I look into to /etc/fstab it still shows hdb1 as NTFS(which used to be before). During Slackware installation I have chnged hdb1 filesystem type to reiserfs filesystem. So, basically it is not updated in the /etc/fstab. If I typein cfdisk /dev/hdb I can see hdb1 and hdb2 are in reiserfs format.
I have tried mounting manually by typing 'mount /dev/hdb1 -t reiserfs /mnt/hdb1' it mounts but when I go to the /mnt/hdb1/home directory or /etc of the mounted partition it has mounted the Ubuntu partition!! I have checked twice whether I made any mistake in mounting the partition-everything looks perfect.
One more thing is I can't access internet from Slackware. I have used static IP's by configuring manually. Where can I find the eth0 config?
In Debian they are in /etc/network/interfaces where can I find the same sought of thing in Slackware ?
Cheers.
