Hi,
I have recently ugraded to kernel 2.6.30 on my Slackware 12.2 installation as I was having problems with suspend/resume functionality, ATI graphics card, etc., previously.
Now my problem is with the synaptics touchpad. Though it is working properly,i.e., the basic functionality is present, I am unable to configure more advance features like Horizontal Scrolling, Circular Scrolling. When I try to do it in real time using synclient, I get the following error message -
# File generated by xf86config.
#
# Copyright (c) 1999 by The XFree86 Project, Inc.
#
#
# This XF86Config file is designed for use with the VESA framebuffer.
# This generic interface should work with nearly all video cards
# (although not every card will support every resolution).
# With the new driver, it should no longer be required to have frame buffer
# support in the kernel, or to run it on the console.
#
# Enjoy!
