C API Come with std dist mySQL?

Hi,

On my Slackware embedded PC with 512 MB I installed mySQL as part of the initial install.

Q1 - Would that have also loaded the C API somewhere? or do I have to download more stuff?

Q2 - If so, where? Where are the includes and lib's.

Thx DavidHB

with Slackware you always get the header files with the libs.
look in /usr/include.

and the libs go to /usr/lib
( not suprised ?)

exeption is made for the kde libs.
those are in /opt/kde/....
