U should download ISO images if u want to install Slackware from CDs (from directory slackware-9.1-iso). If u downloaded content of directory slackware-9.1 u will have to create boot disk and install slackware from hard drive but it will be more difficult. If u r on fast connection i would suggest u to download ISO images, u need only these two:
slackware-9.1-install-d1.iso
slackware-9.1-install-d2.iso
I want to install the slackware via hard-disk, I created the boot and the root disks but when, after I do cfdisk I hit setup but when the main installation thingy appears it asks for an cd to read from (all the packages and stuff). any suggestions?
