Can't speak to xdm, but for xwmconfig, take a look at /etc/X11/xinit directory. Basically you can either copy an xinitrc for jwm into this directory or you can put a symbolic link in this directory to a jwm xinitrc located elsewhere. In either case name it something like "/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.jwm". See the xwmconfig man file - every time you run xwmconfig under your user name it copies whichever xinitrc you choose from its menu into your home directory. Then when you run startx, the desired window manager gets used.

OK
I knew that...

LOL
I just did that
add a xinitrc.jwm to /etc/X11/xinit
and then it showed up when I did xwmconfig

Problem now?
In debian, etc jwm uses the debian menu system
no such thing in slack13

so, how would get jwm to use xfce4's menu??
as the jwm menu has like 4 apps, none of which I have
meaning its a premade menu and I would have to manaully make a menu, add to it
each time I added an app

be easier if it just followed xfce4's menu auto

Arch Wiki recommends using xfdesktop to gain menu functionality:

Now, I gotta get wbar going....

Is wbar available for slack?

EDIT: the high cpu usage, mem,etc in pics is cause I'm building rox-filer and crystalcursors in background

OH, how do I set the mouse cursor?
I wanna change from default to crystalblue?

OK

so, I got it down now
I've been away from slack for 2-3months while I waited for slack13 to get stablilized
thats a joke...

anyway, i forgot how fun it was compiling and what not

and I got my jwm slackpkg down and I even added e17!
And I also added Slim too!
Look at that
JWM with Wbnar and lxpanel
http://multidistro.com/slack/jwmslack.png

and here I implemented "hag-exit-fluxbox" script which runs the logout/reboot/shutdown stuff!
http://multidistro.com/slack/exitjwm.png

I wanna make the whole jwm desktop into a slackpkg
is that possible?

E17
http://multidistro.com/slack/slacke17.png

NOTE: Please note ERIC that in the sbopkg readme, etc for e17 it says you need

e_bus

the actual name is

e_dbus

in sbopkg repo

The only other problem was fbpanel from sbopkg
it installed fine,etc
but for some reason "genmon.so" was missing from the completed pkg?
I just copied genmon.so from the source folder/plugins to /usr/share/fbpanel/plugins
and its all good

both problems could have been my fault?

And I also added the newest I guess src2pkg
However it failed on both wwmkr and fvwm-crystal
somethin about to many usr/ directories or ?

Where's Gnashley at?
I'll again try to build and this time I will document it
thanks

"somethin about to many usr/ directories" Try using a different INSTALL_TYPE. JAIL is now the default, so try using '-DEST' first. If that doesn't work, then try using '-UNION' and if *that* doesn't work, then use '-SAFE'.
