To use you should add it in /etc/pam.d like the rules for pam_gnome_keyring with pam_kwallet.so (the one for KDE5 is pam_kwallet5.so).
It works on my machines.
Thank you very much, it's a feature I really appreciate.
And if you allow me, I have another suggestion that would be very useful for those in Asia. From what I understand, FCITX also supports Qt4, not only Qt5.
So, at least theoretically, it would be possible to make an integration between KDE4 and FCITX, which is native in Slackware 15.0
Considering that here "kcm-fcitx" needs to be adapted for KDE4, I think it's a task that only you can complete. LuckyCyborg is an excellent builder, who knows Slackware very well, but unfortunately he is also not a Qt programmer.

I will add it in my todo list which is expanding...
I have just take a look at it. It shoukd be doable.
Well, as usual for every summer on my profession, I will have to go in a longer job trip - which probably will end this time in the winter.
I will keep with me my trusty laptop, a robust but old Dell Inspiron with a Intel Core2 Duo as CPU and 8GB RAM at 1066 MHz, along with some (external) hard drives - one containing a Slackware 15.0 with KDE4 installation from kde4town.
So, depending on my future free time, in the evenings may I will continue to tinker with kde4town, may I will post in this forum sometimes, but I have no big expectations about the availability of an Internet connection in the near future, because I expect to be in middle of nowhere. If I am really lucky, I may get a good 3G link, which 3G network is usually quite decent anywhere. I'll see...
So, with a sincere hat tip, permit me to say you all: see you later! All the best!

I wish you a good trip and it will be a pleasure to have some news. In the meantime I will try to do some improvements.

Allow me to subscribe to these words.
@LuckyCyborg
From the explanations you gave me in the past, I know that these "job trips" of yours are an important source of income. That's why I suspect that a longer trip also means a higher income, and that makes me happy for you and your family. I wish you success in your work and all the best for your family!
Looking at the next months when you won't be able to be very active here, I will try to promote your actual ideas, of course other than kde4town. With Bruno Lafleur and Monsieur Marav watching it, it couldn't be in better hands.
Distribution: Slackware64-current with "True Multilib" and KDE4Town.

Reason: Typo.

Unfortunately, even the best applications get old because the world changes.
Let's hope @BrunoLafleur wants to adopt this YAWP.

AS usual, the upload is split on 2 huge tarballs, one being kde4town-packages-20230820.tar of 1.08 GB, containing the packages built by myself and the second being kde4town-source-20230820.tar of 1.63 GB containing the full source tree, with build scripts and source tarballs.
As news, there are applied various updates, including the latest updates for the NetworkManager integration made by @BrunoLafleur. Also there's the kwalet4-pam newly added by him as separate build, but which package myself I have integrated into extragear series - possible thanks of some modifications of kde.SlackBuild which I borrowed from Plasma5 counterpart, which permit me to specify different tarball names on /pkgsrc directory.
Hoping that the people will enjoy this upload of mine (which this time needed over 3 full days to complete, over a powerful YAGI 3G antenna along a powerful 3G amplifier), I would like to note something:
It's absolutely wrong someone to believe that I have been "challenged" to port KDE4 to Slackware 15.0 because the limitations of Plasma5 and the merely existence of kde4town absolutely does NOT prove the Plasma5's limitations.
As you certainly remember, I was one of the people who advocated the adoption of Plasma5 (this implying the removal of KDE4) and I've made this kde4town just out of hobby fun - because I like KDE4 too, and because I believe that it still can have a corner case of utility, so will be nice to have it as an alternative.
Believe it or not, sometimes the people do things just out of fun, without being "challenged" by the limitations of this or that.
That's all folks! Have your fun!

What's with that breeze-kde4 package that can be built in the extragear series?
Don't tell me you want to port the default theme from Plasma5 to KDE4?
PS. If you are interested in high performance YAGI 3G/4G antennas, I can recommend this one with 20DB gain. I saw that they also accept orders from your country.

Well, for now that breeze-kde4 package ships the Breeze applications style. Maybe in future I will manage to add also the colors sets and the icons. At least, that's the plan.
BUT, I have no hopes to add also the Breeze's KWin decorations - this one is Qt5 code, and only @BrunoLafleur can make (or backport) it if he's interested.

Well, I know these 3G antennas and they work quite well - I have colleagues who uses this kind of antennas when we are in a job trip.
However, I for one, I use an YAGI antenna built by my elder son, who has as hobby the radio-amateurism and the fine mechanics. This antenna is a bit longer - I think it has around 1.4m and uses an unique body, so it cannot be dismounted in 2 parts like one you show. Anyway, he says that the antenna has a 22dB gain.
But yes, I use an 3G amplifier bought from China, along with a 3G USB dongle which has an antenna output.
Overall, is not that bad - usually I get a download speed of 4-7Mbps (which is decent) with a 3G cell at 30-40Km, but the upload speed is terrible. Yet, there are hopes of improvements - my son works on an improved version with 2 antennas at 45 grades, which he claims that will offer better performances.
However, at long distance mobile connections, seems like the 4G is considerable worst. From my experience, it's like the WiFi N on 2.4GHz versus the WiFi AC on 5GHz. The 4G offers a better speed, but on considerable short distances.
Anyway, many thanks for caring.
