(Bubblewrap) "bwrap: Creating new namespace failed: No space left on device"

Installed Flatpak.... All flatpaks were failing as a regular user but working as root. The error was:
Code:
bwrap: Creating new namespace failed: No space left on device
The reason: max_user_namespaces was set to 0 so Bubblewrap was returning an error.

The fix:
Code:
sudo sysctl -w user.max_user_namespaces=10000

Interesting. I don't think I changed the default and my system (Slackware64 15.0) returns:

Code:
# sysctl user.max_user_namespaces
user.max_user_namespaces = 2062241
Nothing in my /etc/sysctl.d/* touches user.max_user_namespaces.

I'm running a 2 day old 64-current install and (before I changed it):

Code:
[arfon@darkstar ~]$ cat /proc/sys/user/max_user_namespaces
0
[arfon@darkstar ~]$
