Boost in Slackware 13.37

I know that Slackware ships a boost package, but it's already compiled or i have to compile some libraries?

Code:
cat /var/log/packages/boost-*
It's a compiled library w/ headers for development.
If you need to rebuild the package you should find the source on the DVD or one of the mirrors.
