I downloaded Qt SDK file (530 MB and file is ok ) qt-sdk-linux-x86-opensource-2010.05.1.bin, I type in console ( slackware ) like in manual for installation at site
Quote:
chmod u+x qt-sdk-linux-x86-opensource-2010.05.1.bin
but when I type second command for installation
Quote:
./qt-sdk-linux-x86-opensource-2010.05.1.bin
I get error message
Quote:
bash: ./qt-sdk-linux-x86_64-opensource-2010.05.1.bin: cannot execute binary
file How to install ?

Are you sure you need to be installing the Qt SDK? There are Slackbuilds for QtCreator and the Qt documentation, and all the Qt libraries are installed by default on Slackware. I do some Qt development and this is all that I ever needed.

Seems you got a corrupt package. ( A package with a wrong name.)
Quote:
bash: ./qt-sdk-linux-x86_64-opensource-2010.05.1.bin: cannot execute binary
This indicates a 64 Bits package. And the size fits ( 530 MB )
http://get.qt.nokia.com/qtsdk/
qt-sdk-linux-x86_64-opensource-2010.05.1.bin 30-Sep-2010 '556504804'
qt-sdk-linux-x86-opensource-2010.05.bin 20-Sep-2010 '441760791'
→ → The x86 version is 421.9 MB !

Suggest: Use the file command. For the package direct from Nokia it says :
'file qt-sdk-linux-x86-opensource-2010.05.1.bin' :
qt-sdk-linux-x86-opensource-2010.05.1.bin: ELF 32-bit LSB executable,
Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs),
for GNU/Linux 2.2.5, stripped
..

P.S. : Why do you use this package : see post #3.
..

Looks like a binary mis-match to me:
sdk-linux-x86_64
sdk-linux-x86
Are you running a 32-bit system and trying to execute a 64-bit program?

I'll say it again: the proper way to install Qt's development tools is by installing qt-creator and qt-doc from http://slackbuilds.org.
