bash: xf86config: command not found

Ever since I installed Dropline Gnome, the xf86config doesn't work! So how do I configure X?

Dropline replaces Xfree86 with Xorg, so you'll need to run xorgconfig instead. The script is exactly the same, it's just been renamed, that's all.

Similarly, the configuration file is now called xorg.conf.

Aha! xorgconfig only runs as a regular user, not root

That's odd. It works fine for me as root, although I'm not using Dropline (I got Xorg from -current instead).

Try /usr/X11R6/bin/xorgconfig instead.
