In slack-desc for bash-completion-2.1-noarch-1 it says:
Quote:
Adds programmable completion to the bash shell. A new file called
/etc/bash_completion will be sourced for interactive bash shells
adding all sorts of enhanced command completion features.
|
However, /etc/bash_completion is not created by this slackbuild and thus cannot be sourced:
Code:
$ stat /etc/bash_completion
stat: cannot stat /etc/bash_completion: No such file or directory
Instead, there is /etc/profile.d/bash_completion.sh that sources /usr/share/bash-completion/bash_completion. This script in turn sources all completions in /usr/share/bash-completion/completions and in /etc/bash_completion.d. This change comes from
upstream:
Quote:
bash-completion (1.90)
(...)
* Layout change: everything is now in /usr/share/bash-completion/, rather
than in /etc/.

I think this should be fixed.
