www.hotpop.com but sometimes it is sketchy. Right now, as a matter of fact, for the last couple days, have not been able to log in.

Other tid-bits of info, that somebody reading along might someday find useful:

Yahoo email is usable via Thunderbird, with an extension available here:
http://webmail.mozdev.org
Same place as the extensions for enabling Hotmail with Thunderbird are located.
Like Hotmail, sometimes they change something on their end, causing your T-Bird w/webmail extension for Yahoo to suddenly quit working. However, it does not seem to happen as often as it does with Hotmail.

Thunderbird forum - thread dedicated to the use of these extensions:
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewto...d=a&start=1005
Right now, looks like there are 68 pages in that thread. When it gets too big, they stop it and start another.
The Webmail extension developer/programmer is not a stranger there - he participates regularly. I see posts from him dated yesterday.
This thread is worth bookmarking.

http://groups.google.com/group/thund...mail-extension
Another excellent one to bookmark.
Actually, sometimes it is even better than the Mozillazine forum mentioned above. Reports of Hotmail or Yahoo quiting seem to show up here quicker. Also, the developer/programmer posts beta versions of his extensions here, if you are so inclined as to want to try them. He also posts regularly too.

How much of this applies to Linux? .... don't know. But if one is experiencing difficulties, it can't hurt to be aware of these other forums, and have a quick look there, to see what is being said.
