(ASK) Install QT Creator

hai,,can you help me, I wan't to install QT Creator on slackware 14.1..but i still confused to do that step..can you give me a simple step to install that. Thank You

Hi and welcome to LQ !

You can install qt-creator 2.8.0 by creating the package from the slackbuilds.org site : http://slackbuilds.org/repository/14...arch=qtcreator

Check the howto section for general instructions.

the script works for qt-creator-3.0.0 too, just change version in script or launch with 'VERSION="3.0.0" ./qt-creator.SlackBuild'

Or if you want the latest Qt (5.2.0) and qt-creator (3.0.0), download the Qt from http://qt-project.org/downloads, from a terminal run kdesu <qt_binary_filename.run> and install it in folder /opt/Qt-5.2, the qt-5.2.0 binary has qt-creator-3.0.0 included in it.
