Anjuta compiling issue in Slack 9...

I can't compile Anjuta (1.0.2) in Slack 9
I got this error when running ./configure
Code:
checking for gnome-config... no
checking for gnomeConf.sh file in /usr/local/lib... not found
configure: error: Could not find the gnomeConf.sh file that is generated by gnome-libs install
anyone know how to fix it?

Well, I am not sure what the program is that you are attempting to compile. But Slack 9 is based on Gnome 2.2 and not version 1. Perhaps the config has changed and the program is not aware of the version 2 configuration files. Just a thought. So you might would want to check back with the source of the program.

I was wondering have you got this fixed yet?? i am having the same problem and i figure it's because i don't have gnome-libs-devel installed. But after getting gnome-libs-devel and gnome-vfs-devel and making symbolic links here and there, it got past the gnomeConf.sh but it still refuses to install...anyone successfully installed anjuta in slack 9.0

You might want to review the following thread.

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...threadid=54497

Neenee posted up a list of the Gnome libs required for Evolution under Dropline I think it was, so it might be the same requirements for your program. I haven't had the time to test it out as yet for my app that was based on Gnome 1. But perhaps it will help you out.
