An easy way to make a new boot drive?
Hey gang,
Since it appears my NVME drive, which was my / and boot drive on my system has died and disappeared (as per the thread 'Thought I had done an ge*in**rd for new .145 kernel...'), I'm now faced with making a new boot drive with 15.0 again.
I've got my other NVME that contains my home, an HDD that contains my music, and an HDD that contains my videos/movies.
I can see all three of those drives with a LiveSlack USB drive. Unfortunately for some reason when I brought my .mozilla dir over from my home drive, the browsers on the live drive don't see it and utilize all the extremely important stuff it contains. I have that very same .mozilla dir on a separate USB drive that I carry with me and update weekly, just for these kinds of emergencies, and the hidden .mozilla from it isn't utilized by any of the browsers on the liveslack either. I found it very strange and a little scary as I *NEED* the passwords and bookmarks, etc, from that hidden directory for my doctors and disability stuff and insurance, etc.
I've ordered a new NVME drive to replace the dead root NVME in my system, all I need now is a little bit of advice how and what to do to get my system back up and running with the ability to utilize my other NVME that holds my home on it. It'd sure be appreciated if anyone has a simple idea of what can be done.
