Im not see a problem , if we go up mariadb-10.6 , why worry arround broke mariadb-10.5 ?

If have mariadb-10.5 no need patch , not aplied
If have mariadb-10.6 we need this patch , dont see back compatibility to 10.5 not need compatibility if we go with 10.6.x

Sorry for my bad english.
I think my explanation its easy to understand.

I'm not talking about mariadb 10.5, but mariadb/mysql 5.x.

They might make an incorrect fix.
Software engineering, as any other form of engineering, is prone to human errors.
arch, NASA are no different. With NASA the thing is that they have enormous infrastructure in place for the highest possible quality.

All that being written, as @richarson highlighted, the arch fix will work for us, but is incorrect from technical point of view.
This might or might not be a problem, depending on ones requirements.

If you didn'y execute mysql_upgrade, I think downgrading MariaDB and restarting akonadi should be enough.

You can find older versions of Slackware packages in certain mirrors, like http://slackware.uk/cumulative/, e.g. for 64-current:

This was helpful. I keep old slackware *txz files on my machine. I removed the 6.4 and reverted to 5.11, and as you thought, all is OK now.

Yakuake loses focus and doesn't show up in the task switcher anymore.

Very annoying for my use case

I reverted to yakuake 21.04.3 and it works correctly.

Hello , after last update i noticed one "stranger things" , from new ark package.

If use a service menu to descompress something ,at the ends , he open new dolphin instance with "destination folder" ...

I check ark config , and the option "open destination folder after extraction" , are disabled , as ever , but ark dont catch.

If downgrade ark package , all works as ever ... i can extract using service menu , and no new dolphin instance with folder destination.

Im alone ?

Hi,

I have a bug with kmail since last batch updates (15.0rc1).

1. I receive a new mail in my INBOX folder.
2. I read it.
3. I delete it or move it to another folder.
4. A few minutes later, it's back as new mail, like if I never receive it.

If I delete the mail with another imap client, I have no issue, the mail won't be back anywhere. Hope this bug will be fixed before 15.0 release.

Usually I close Plasma/KDE when updating. I forgot the last time. I restored config files from a previous backup, it seems working now. Sorry for the noise.

No, it doesn't work for me.

I usually keep Alt pressed to cycle through all my open windows but this time yakuake doesn't even show up.

I don't use the default task switcher but I tried several and all of them behaved the same.

Thanks for the suggestion though.
